How I met Ron Howard
I was skating in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
I saw some guy with two cute little kids. They both had this awesome red hair and sort of goofy smile. I was just about to say that the older one looked like Opie, then hesitated for some reason.
The dad asked me for directions to one of the lakes and I told him.
Only later when I got back to my friends did I realize it was Ron Howard – who had played Opie himself as a kid.
A story about bozo
I met the real, original, Bozo the Clown. (Larry Harmon) He was in San Francisco, running for president of the U.S. This was a few years ago, and I wonder how things would be different if he had won.
